How The Aretto Leaps Came Together?

At Aretto, we understand the importance of designing the perfect shoe for children. That's why we put a lot of thought and effort into our Aretto Leaps, combining comfort, growth, and style into one package.

To create the perfect shoe, we focused on four key areas: the upper knit, the sole form design, the sole grip design, and the overall design.

First, we wanted the upper knit to be comfortable and breathable, while also being able to accommodate growing feet. We spent a lot of time figuring out and studying the support zones of the foot and designing a knit that would meet the unique needs of children's feet. It was also important for the upper knit to integrate well with the rest of the design and look stylish.

Next, we focused on the sole form design. We wanted to combine our SuperGrooves technology with style, while also ensuring that the foot could bend flexibly and the sole could expand to accommodate up to three sizes. We finally settled on an androgynous design that would look good on all kinds of feet while providing structured adaptability.

We also paid special attention to the sole grip design, as we wanted to ensure that kids could explore freely without slipping or skidding. We chose a wave pattern that would provide grip without constraining their little feet.

Once we had all these parts in place, we used 3D visualization to create the first mock-up of the Aretto Leaps. After a few final tweaks and careful consideration of colours, finishes, and materials, we were able to create the Aretto Leaps that are now loved by so many.
