Black Enough for the Uniform Code

The upper is knitted from an even split of polyester and spandex at 2.5 mm, so it stretches with the foot instead of pressing on it, and it dries fast after a wash. Underneath sits 6 mm of high-density foam that moulds to the foot over the first few wears. Nothing to break in, so they go on for the first day of school as they are.

Which Size to Buy
Measure the foot in centimetres and match the number to the band. Age is the least reliable number on a shoe box.

Take the larger size when the measurement falls between two bands. The sole opens as the foot grows, so the larger band closes the gap. A shoe that is already tight has nowhere to go.

Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water and air dry away from direct sun and heat. Spot-clean with mild soap in between. One pair washed on Friday night is dry by Monday.
